Ivarr Jacobsen

Born in Berlin and raised in the countryside and by the sea, Ivarr Jacobsen’s work is heavily influenced by romantic landscapes. With a piano maker father and an architect mother, Ivarr’s upbringing was characterized by an artistic household.

Spending a lot of time on the boat, Ivarr has always been fascinated by images that evoke feelings of melancholy and hope. He decided to pursue an autodidact career as a cinematographer and gaffer during his studies at the University of the Arts Berlin. Today, his work stands out through romanticism-inspired imagery. His clients include Sony Music, Universal Music, Netflix, ARD, Marshall, Amazon Prime, among others.
